Welcome to La Boca. LEAVE!
After leaving San Telmo we went to La Boca, a world-renowned late-night muggers' paradise. BUT we went in the middle of the day! What could go wrong??
Well, considering the above appears on their "Welcome" sign, it wasn't shocking things went wrong.
Luckily La Policia was there to say, "Turisticas? No, no. Necistas llevar."

I'm intrigued. What DID go wrong? Never heard of La Boca. I'm gonna google it.
ReplyDeleteit was not in la boca but we did have an attempted pick pocketing on the subway. some tiny little guy just reached into one of the pockets of my cargo shorts ready to take whatever was in there. i felt it, knocked his hand away, and proceeded to laugh at him and inform corinne that the little bastard was a thief. his friend, standing next to me, could only help but laugh. amatuers. they really need to head to new york for some lessons in subtlety.
