Pub Crawl, Dulles Edition

This trip isn't solely focused on international travel! As Americans, we know there is plenty to see right in our own backyards - especially when we are stuck for 4 hours in a little backyard known as Our Nation's Capitol.

First, we soaked up some of the rich political culture by picking up a book that featured someone that looked as patriotic as we felt.

That Sarah Palin!! She says the DARNDEST things!

When I realized she had at one point been an actual candidate for the office of vice president, I needed a drink. Jim was happy to oblige.

After a quick stop at Moe's Grille, we then headed to The Firkin and the Fox. POP QUIZ: Do you know what a "Firkin" is? It may surprise you to know it's not as weird as it sounds.

After that, we stumbled upon a late-night rave being held in an abandoned Sky Lounge from 1984. That's when things got a little psychadelic!

I don't know if Buenos Aires can match the Dulles airport in terms of political history, wine selection, vocabulary lessons or the availability of e, but at this point, we are ready to find out!
