Let's get a little bit morbid!!

We spent a portion of today touring the famous Recoleta Cemetery, final resting place of Eva Peron, countless illustrious familias, and a woman who was actually buried alive, according to Jim's guidebook.

As a Westerner, I'm not actually comfortable with death. However, this place defied expectations. There is actually no grass to be seen, and the rows and rows of mausoleums form narrow paths packed tightly with incredibly varied bits of architecture. Let's just say that if the designers of Disney's Pioneer Land spent twice as much on a new section called Historic Deathville, it would be nowhere NEAR as cool as this.
